“Alpha and Omega” is a new movie 3D on the new movies list this fall. Unfortunately, 3D notwithstanding, it’s a pretty standard romantic comedy (with wolves). It’s full of really stupid jokes that kids will surely like but some of this upcoming moviewill be too frightening for the youngest viewers. This film is just not good enough to be worth the extra cost of a ticket for a 3D movie.

Because there are so many adult movies playing in theaters this fall, this kid’s movie is sure to be a box office movie success. “Alpha and Omega” was released by Lionsgate and opens on September 17th.

This new movie is a Burbank-Mumbai co-production from an Indian corporation, Crest Animation. The background of the movie has a flat, old-fashioned quality that will appeal to some as the CGI shows characters, running, jumping, flying and dancing.
