The Spanish-language film premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday and will be limited release in U.S. cinemas on 28 June.
This film tells the passengers on a flight from Spain to the Mexico City after their plane suffered a serious disorder.
Almodovar (63) back to work after the comedy of the last decade working on drama films including the film Talk To Her 2002 production which won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and the film production of 2011′s The Skin I Live In.
“During the 1990s, I did a lot of comedy, so this is sort of back to where I belong,” said Almodovar told Reuters. “I guess I just need to make something lighter.”

The film stars actors and actresses who have previously worked with Almodovar, namely Javier Camara, Lola Duenas, Blanca Suarez and Cecilia Roth.
Two Hollywood stars from Spain, namely Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz, have appeared in this film.
