The moment it came out that the Doctor thinks there could be another Time Lord and that he is out on a search mission, a feeling rose inside me, and then, gradually, subsided.
I started working on the possibility of me being the Time Lord. I began dissecting my yearning for it and asked myself, ‘what would I do to be known as the Time Lord once?’ I didn’t get the answer! But catching Doctor Who season 6 episode 4 may leave me with an answer, for the idea to see something transpire right in front of your eyes – something that you wanted to have yourself – is calming, if not encouraging.
And this was just a feeling, not an afterthought, the charm of Doctor Who that gives rise to such fascination. The reason I mentioned Time Lord (ah!) is because the master thinks there is one that exists, which has made him go out on a search mission. Season 6 started with so many thrills and if episode 4 could add a Time Lord, it would be the icing on the cake.

Remembering Charlie Chaplin, the little tramp

Charlie Chaplin not only proved that camera is the language of silent cinema but also gave cinema the beautiful art of mime.
The eminent Indian cartoonist R.K. Laxman, once said, “The instinct to laugh has survived all the wars, tragedies and sufferings that fill the history of our world.” This is why, perhaps, every film of Charlie Chaplin has observed a good-humoured approach to life.
