April 29th 2011, Friday, is the day that signifies the start of a new chapter for British monarchy. On this day, the country will witness its future king and queen, Prince William and Kate Middleton, finally say “I do” at Westminster Abbey in front of 1,000 of their closest family and friends, 1,900 lucky guests (including Elton John, the Beckhams, Guy Ritchie, etc.) and not to mention the rest of the world. People’s fascination and curiosity towards this union is so great that bride-to-be Kate Middleton’s notoriety sky-rocketed the moment the Prince popped the question. Middleton has now become the most photographed, most pursued woman in the world; she even managed to eclipse the late Princes Diana’s celebrity status! In fact, the upcoming royal wedding is so celebrated that Britain’s prime minister even declared the day to be a holiday, risking the country losing more than $10 billion in output; far outstripping the expected $1.5-2 billion earnings that will come from tourists and sales of wedding memorabilias.
